Communities

Homestead grows one community at a time.

Every Homestead community is a real place, with its own people, streets and conversations. We’re starting with Swinton in South Yorkshire and will open more communities gradually.

How communities work

Built around the places people call home.

  1. 01

    Real places

A Homestead community is a real town, village or neighbourhood: somewhere people would recognise as theirs. We draw each one carefully, street by street, rather than relying on postcode areas that often cut across places.

  2. 02

    Your home decides

When you join, your address places you in your community. You’ll see and talk with the people who live there, and your address is never shown.

  3. 03

    One at a time

We open communities gradually, so each one gets the attention it needs to grow. Where people register interest helps us decide where to go next.

Your community is closer than you think.

Homestead is opening in Swinton first. Register your interest and we'll let you know when you can join, wherever you live.
